Now, most people know what a push-up is and have probably at some stage in their life attempted a few. But, few people know just how good push-ups can be in your workout.

Exercise of the Month for April

Our theme for this month in terms of workouts is: “adrenalin abs” and we have been focusing on total body exercises that facilitate the release of adrenaline to help maximise fat loss and then core stability exercises to help firm and flatten our abs.

Fitness Boot Camp Workouts for April

At boot camp this month we are going to be focusing on exercises that maximise fat burning and those that build a firmer, flatter and more toned set of abs!!

Exercise of the Month for March



Our theme for this month is: “the one sided argument for amazing abs” and we have been focusing on exercises that can be done on one side (left or right) at a time. Now, our exercise of the month for March at Fitness Boot Camp is not only a unilateral exercise, but it is also a full body exercise that works you from head to toe and really targets the abs too!

This weekend I had to eat my words…I told someone they couldn’t do something and they proved me wrong!! It was absolutely fantastic to be wrong and a privilege to experience the determination and perseverance that this little person showed to prove that the only limitations there were…were the ones that I put on him…

If you have read my blog before, then you already know that I interact with a few superheroes on a regular basis (Do Superheroes Need to Workout in order to Stay in Shape?). But, there is a new breed of super-villain out there…and his name is “Aerobics”.

Ever heard the saying:

Well, at boot camp we don’t leave anything to chance…including how you FINISH…

Boot campers are very familiar with something we call “Finishers”. These are 4-5 minute workouts at the very end of boot camp sessions that are what they say they are…
