Boot Camp Workout of the Week

Here is our fitness boot camp workout of the week:

It is a great way to get a full body workout while mixing up your exercise and ensuring you have a bit of fun…

Get a normal pack of playing cards. Shuffle them and put them close by. Each suit of card represents a different exercise category within your workout:

You can still eat amazing food when trying to lose body fat and build muscle.

And, if you are anything like me, you are just itching to sink your teeth into that burger and chips…

I received another great email from a colleague of mine, Craig Ballentyne, today.

Having a plan is crucial…Sticking to it is even more important.

Check out these poor guys…

having a plan and sticking to it

These guys were setting steel pillars in concrete to prevent vehicles from parking on the pavement. They are now cleaning up after a hard days work and a job “well done”. How long do you think it will be before they realise where their vehicle is parked…?

More For Less…?

More results, less time…that’s what I am always after…

And it just happens to be one of the many questions I get asked too:
“How do I get more results from my workouts…while spending less time working out?”

Great question. Simple answer: INTENSITY

Do you Break the Fast…?

Yesterday, I worked at a Wellness Day at a very popular Hotel here in Cape Town. I had some great conversations with those attending. There was an interesting nutrition concern that I kept addressing…

Why should you “break the fast”? Or more specifically: “Why should you eat breakfast?”

What is the Best Exercise?

I am often asked: “What is the best exercise?”

And my answer is always the same: “It depends…”

What I mean is that it depends on what your goals are. Now any exercise is better than no exercise and today I did my favourite exercise…

Diet versus Exercise?

I recently witnessed a battle of the two fitness & fat loss icons:

“Diet” and “Exercise”

Want to know who won? Want to know whether it is possible to “out-exercise” nutrition. Or whether you can “out-eat” exercise?
